Why do women get jealous of other women who receive gifts from a male?
Q. At work, some women are friendly with me, but when I decide to give a gift, or candy like for valentine's Day to a certain woman out of kindness, other women get very jealous, And these women are already married, or have boyfriends? Is there something wrong with these women relationships? Do I show a trait that their lovers don't show. Once a woman manipulated me to give her flowers for her birthday, and she's already married too. What's up? Please give me some advice about these kind of women. Thanks!

What motivations do women have to critique feminism?
Q. Men are doing it because they "hate women" according to the local feminists here, so I was just wondering why some women do it and say some of the same things we do. There are many women that critique feminism and some of them are gaining popularity and exposure. Among them are Christina Hoff Summers, Carrie Lukas, and Wendy McElroy. When you read the works of the afore mentioned women you get a sense that they are truly interested in equality and the organizations they represent are indeed egalitarian movements. Some women here deny that feminism has the capability to be anything other than a wondrous "happy place." So men critique feminism because they hate women apparently. Do women also hate women when they critique feminism?

A. Certainly hating women can't be the reason for critiquing feminism. Seeing that most women hate women more than just about any man could ever hate them. I think we'd see WAY more women critiquing it if that were the cause. The only reason women would have to critique it is morality. That is all. Feminism, at this point, is simply gaining more and more special treatment/privileges for women. So, it only helps them. Why would anyone even think about going against their own special privileges? Well, morality remains as the only reason left. Let's see just how much they have... Numerous fems claim that, "Well I'm a feminist and I just want equality not special rights and privileges." Expecting that to make everything okay. The… [cont.]

Lesbian and Bisexual women :How do I know if another woman is checking me out?
Q. Women are very complicated and this is coming from a woman! I know that women like to see what other women are wearing, or to compare their body to other women. But I can never tell if another girl is checking me out in a sexual way when I get looked at around college or in public, please help?! Men are sooo obvious but women are not.

A. You can just tell. If she gives you a sexy smile or a look that says I'm interested, she is interested. Maybe if shes's a little touchy-feely action, that could be a hint, as well. You just have to keep your eyes open and look for signs.

How often do women get away with domestic violence these days?
Q. I know there are some women who are perpretrators of domestic violence and are very manipulative towards their husbands. A woman wouldn't go to jail. If it was vice versa, the heat is on. A woman hits a man, she gets no punishment. I know there are some abusive men who deserve a little more credit because they're the ones defending themselves. There are cops who arrest women and also deserves a little credit. In this day and time, how often do women get away with domestic violence and often manipulate their husbands?

How many Western women feel funny hanging out with women who wear the hijab?
Q. I have a nice figure ( but I don't go overboard) like the girls on Southwest Airlines. However, I feel funny around women who wear the hijab, as if by their presence I am made to feel morally lacking in a group. I feel insulted because I am naturally attractive and I feel that they are trying to force their beliefs (Allah) on me. I think a little fun is okay. I love my freedom to independence, and no matter what women say who wear the hijab, they are giving up a bit of freedom. I love wearing heels on a bright sunny day and wearing my hair down, hanging on my shoulders. Also, as much as a woman who wears the hijab wants to believe she will never experience the wonderful feel of running along the beach with her nice sexy muscled legs,… [cont.]

But, just as it gets 90 and 100 degrees here in the summer, it was like that there, and to see women in full dress with the hijab and even some women in a burka was absolutely astonishing to me. How did women deal with female problems before modern medicine?
Q. Like vaginal problems and child birth and all these things women have to see doctors for on a regular basis. What did women do before modern medicine? Somehow they survived. Because women today are always complaining about that stuff. They have it easy compared to women in the 1700's and before.

A. Yes. Very many women died in childbirth. Children often died before their 5th birthday. And the average lifespan was fourty years at the beginning of the 20th century. Contaigeous diseases like smallpox, polio, Spanish Flu, etc. killed millions and didn't discriminate along gender lines. Please think your questions through before you post.

What gives women the right to make all the RULES for dealing with the opposite sex?
Q. When a man says he wants a housewife and a woman who is passive, he gets attacked by feminists. Yet, women feel they have the right to tell men how they should behave in relationships with women. Why? If men can't dictate female behavior why should women be able to dictate male behavior?

A. You are right... women cannot make rules maybe 50/50 but in my country the rate is women 20 and the men 80. We enjoy the 20% and we know that we love respecting our man and enjoying his maturity and decisions over other things...

For women: what do you think about youth and beauty being so important regarding women?
Q. Society tends to focus on youth and beauty regarding women. One is a temporary asset (everybody ages), and the other one of a superficual one (no one can choose their genes) Meanwhile society doesnt put as much pressure on men to look young and beauty, in fact you can see many old fat ugly guys married to younger beautiful women. So what do you think about it?

A. They are both fleeting. One of the good things about getting older is that you worry less about beauty. I still worry about age because we live in a society where there is prejudice against older people. Like people can help getting older - what else can they do - die? Health seems to be more important after your late 30s, and you quit worrying about things like always looking perfect. I used to starve myself in my 20s, and I think a lot of young women still would rather be thin than healthy. Every time I read questions on here about a woman only being of value till age 23 or 25 I'm a little annoyed. What do some of these men think - that women are disposable? A. There are any number of absorbent materials which can be used to catch menstrual fluid. Mostly, women used rags, which they soaked in cold water and then washed and reused. Soaking in cold water will remove most of the fluid. Washing a protein stain (and that's what menstrual fluid is, a protein stain) will generally "cook" the protein and set it. This is also what people did in the days before disposable diapers. If you're really interested in learning more, you can visit the online Museum of Menstruation. This site does discuss menstruation frankly, so don't click the link unless you're prepared to deal with it. I don't consider anything on the site to be especially shocking, but I'm less easily shocked than most people. … [cont.]

A. In the Colonial period, women's work was vital to the survival of the colonies. Their role in cloth production was particularly important, as cloth was in very short supply in the early colonies, spinning and weaving were vital female skills. They raised poultry, milked cows, made their own butter and cheese, brewed the ale that people drank instead of water, grew vegetables, preserved food for winter, tended the sick, and in the southern colonies in the early decades they often laboured in the fields beside the men. During the later colonial period their economic importance declined somewhat, as more ready-made good became available, and their role as producers was no longer seen as vital. But many women still performed important roles… [cont.]

A. Some common causes: insecurity, jealousy, poor self/body image, distorted view of manufactured 'beauty', etc. Since it is relatively difficult to leave the planet, the temporary solution is rise above the sea of pettiness, which also allows you to see who else has risen to have a broadened horizontal and fresh breath of air. Oh, and tell those wallowing in pettiness who won't leave you alone to fu k off because they are not welcome in your life :)

How come women like to have their hair pulled during sexual intercourse?
Q. I'm being serious. What exactly about that turns women on? Every girlfriend i've had has asked me to do that during sex or something they would like me to do during sex in our conversations. Does that help women reach orgasm faster or something to that effect? Or is it that women are more turned on by rough sex? I also wondered is it just a matter of a woman wanting to be dominated by a man or her sex partner?

A. You just so happened to find a series of women who like it... Women can have very different appetites for sex (more than men it _seems_). It can be the psychological effects of it (domination is most obvious) or the physical of having something to focus them on the good sensations or simply to have more sensation (regardless of good or bad).

Where the word on the street from white women is that men are not needed and white women stand alone. Sure, we are lovers and partners but I am and independant women is what they would say. Minority women embrace their men in a partnership of love. White women put up rules and boundaries and controls! Any other men notice this? nyambing- Not talking about your race.. Why are there so few women that can cook good?
Q. Specifically for the women being born after the 50's. TV dinners, frozen pizzas, and a simple peanut butter sandwich is what seems to be the only things that these women can make. Is it because that a woman that can cook really good home meals are portrayed as a housewife in which is undesirable to these women born after the 50's?

A. Well there are still plenty of women that cook exceptionally well, but there maybe something to the notion that women, in this day and age, are not as proficient as there predecessors in an era before the 1950s. I don t think this is a result of modern women being turned off by the image of the subservient house wife, and having this image dissuade them from attaining skill at cooking. I just think that the modern world is not conducive to producing good domestic cooks, or housewives period. Modernity places too many demands on a woman s time. Prior to WWII, most women were fixated with marriage, children, and maintaining domestic tranquility. Now, with women, rightfully I might add, gaining equal access to education and jobs previously… [cont.]
